Sales Director - Africa
Highly driven Sales Director req’d by global 3rd party card processor. Lead and motivate team to develop business across African markets. Key role to grow market share for leading-edge payment solutions to financial services, mobile and other customers. Develop and roll-out creative sales strategy for the region.
Main duties:
Be instrumental in leading and driving Sales team to generate business across African markets and to grow market share:

Pivotal role to develop and implement new and innovative Sales strategy for Africa.
Develop and drive a “high performance” sales culture within the team.
Determine Sales targets for regions and ensure team achieve or exceed targets.
Grow market share across existing and new clients in African countries.
Generate business for their end-to-end payments from issuing, acquiring to processing and digital payment solutions;
Sell their fully customised card issuing services, including credit, debit, pre-loaded cards, contactless cards and loyalty programmes.
Identify and build relationships with key-decision makers in client base.
Drive the Sales team to provide “distinctive” service to clients.               
Select, recruit and retain suitable Sales Executives for the African region.
Develop the team by providing sales and product training, where required.
Build depth of skills and knowledge in the team by sharing knowledge and insights.
Role would entail travel in Africa and surrounds.

Qualifications and Experience:

B.Com degree or relevant Sales Diplomas. Honours or Masters, an advantage.
Proven track record in sales and leading Sales team to achieve.
8 to 10 years sales experience in 3rd party Card processing, issuing or payment solutions sectors in Africa, essential.

Remuneration Package / Salary and Location of role:

Basic salary plus aggressive OTE (On Target Earnings).
Possibility of Equity share in the business.
Person based in Mauritius or African Country (eg South Africa).
