ResponsibilitiesUsing a strong understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control languages (C#), responsible for the analysis of complex business requirements, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of systems applications software
Gather and understand all technical requirements that drive the analysis and design of software solutions, ensure requirements are compatible with existing versions and in compliance with the products’ architectural blueprints.
Research, evaluate, and incorporate new third party products, technology and tools that enhance the product development process and usability.
Ensure that support incidents raised with the team are resolved according to relevant SLA’s.
Proactively monitor applications to ensure stability. Enhance applications as necessary to ensure that they provide the necessary levels of robustness and logging, as identified by the incident management process.
Escalate unresolved queries to management.
Ensure integrity of software update and enhancements.
Ensure and implement that proper disaster recovery is in place.
Ensure data integrity of all related databases and software configuration.
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma / Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification or work experience in programming and development
3 - 5 years of experience in software development, across the full application development lifecycle.
Minimum Skills Required:
Excellent skills in ASP.NET/C# programming
Windows Forms/Services development in C#
Intermediate SQL
MS SQL Server 2008/2012
Experience with database design
.Net Framework 2.0/3.0/3.5
.Net Web services/SOAP
WCF Services
XML/XML Schema
Object Oriented Programming and Design
Team Foundation Server
