Onsite end user support for alldesktop devices for the call centre. This is Linux and a few Microsoft devices.First linesupport for networking infrastructure such as modems, routers and switches.
First linesupport for onsite Linux servers.
Preparation and installation of end user devices such asdesktops, notebooks and headsets.
Logging of all incidents and request on behalf of callcentre staff and management.
Standby for the call centre
Assist with Monthlydeployment of the CC application.
Administration
Configuration of profiles for call centreengineers on Linux platform.
Update of IT audit platform
Vendor management ofrespective service providers

Qualifications & Experience
1to 2 year diploma / ‘NQF’ Level 4
Up to 5 years’ experience
Amatric qualification and
A+ / MCSE/MCDST qualification or any other IT certifiedqualification.
And/or
Other IT related modules could include ITILexposure
And/or
Degree or Diploma relating to the IT platform. E.g.Degree in Information Technology or BCOMM.
Having a good understanding of the Linuxplatform, commands.
