Key Purpose:

To manage the storage environment, as the company data storage grows and new hardware is purchased.Key Outputs:

• Getting an understanding how the storage environment designed and configured.
• Building up of the necessary knowledge and understanding that the candidate can assist with the day to day storage related tasks. These task would be, creating storage capacity, assign storage lun to HBA initiators, zoning, updating operator scripts, labelling, creation and administration of volumes, Disk group, mount point, import scripts and performance monitoring of environment.
• Building up of the necessary knowledge and understanding so that the candidate can assisting in delivering storage related projects.
• Liaising with all departments in TI and technology teams across all companies.
• Ensuring that the Storage environment achieves a 99.99% uptime SLA out site scheduled change windows.
• Ensure that all storage related CA calls are address within a 94% SLA.
• May be required to assist in other projects in the department.

Qualifications:

• Operating system qualification would beneficial.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Windows operating systems. Linux operating system experience will be beneficial.
• Basic understanding of how the following technologies work: Windows / Linux Servers, Network, Storage Area Networks and Storage Arrays.
