CORE DESCRIPTION:

Provide highly specialised technical support through implementation and maintenance of IT Compute and Storage solutions with 'close to the box' softwarePRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• To provide highly specialised technical support to clients through implementation of enterprise.
• Compute and Storage solutions,
• Diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit,
• Defining support needs and conducting informal training.
• Contribute to the overall team effectiveness through technical contributions, customer focus and teamwork.
• Provide user support for more complex diagnosis and investigations to recover or continue operations.
• Manage the full range of defined tasks associated with operating and controlling of installed hardware and software on a continual basis
• Active participation in and compliance to the change management system and maintain the system in accordance with agreed procedures.
• Conduct Research and Conduct tests on systems



EXPERIENCE:

MCSE, MCSA, and MCP required
Hypervisor skill – VMware and Hyper-V – implementation and repair skill
Exchange - repaired and implementation skill
AD Migration, implementation, and repair skill
Veeam backup and DR skill

3 to 5 years of experience in the above required




QUALIFICATIONS:

3 Year degree / diploma (NQF 6) with IT Certification

Or

Grade12 with 5 years’ experience.
