Technical Skills RequiredMust be able to perform on 3rd line basis
Must know how to setup and administrate Microsoft Exchange
Must know who to setup and administrate Active Directory
Must know who to setup and install Windows Servers.
Must be able to setup DNS/DHCP, Terminal Services, and Windows Server Licensing
Must know the Configuration of Routers and Routing of Internet Traffic and connection
Must know MX Records and PTR records.
Must be able to Setup and troubleshoot Windows Workstations Operating Systems
Must be familiar with RDP connection and how to configure Servers for Remote Support
Must have knowledge of Backup and Anti-Virus products
2 to 3 Years solid hands-on experience
Daily Responsibility’s
Maintain and Support the Clients Network Infrastructure
Daily Maintenance of the Server and Updates required by the Servers
Support and Troubleshooting of all Workstations
Helpdesk and Remote Support of Clients Servers, printers, networking equipment and
Workstations
Check and Maintain Customer Managed Service status
Maintain timesheets and time recording against customer contracts and Ad-Hoc Customers
Reference for this position is NON EE Network Technician which is a permanent position based in Edenvale offering a salary of R 10 000 – R 15 000 per month with Travel, Data, Standby Allowance.
