Job Purpose:

As Endpoint Security Manager for group, the function forms part of an integrated global team dedicated to mitigating risks through the efficient and effective application of information security expertise.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Development, provisioning and successful execution of endpoint security services for the Group:

Oversee the implementation, administration, and operation of multiple endpoint security technologies such as but not limited to Safend, Bitlocker, EMET, McAfee ePO.
Produce and track metrics for the effectiveness and maturity of endpoint security technologies and processes
Work with business units to develop goals for measurement improvement
Oversee development and operation of endpoint information security executive dashboards
Manage relations with endpoint security vendors
Provide support for multiple endpoint information security products
Oversee configuration and administration of security tools
Maintain current understanding of industry trends and threats
Interact with IT Security products and support services and project management office to strategize on new project implementation
Maintain budget requirements for endpoint security management
Maintain SLA and OLA agreements for endpoint security management
Provide support to South Africa and RoA
Collaborate with the Group Operational Risk Officer, Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and other Group stakeholders to ensure that services offered are relevant, timely, of appropriate quality and cost-effective.
Report non-compliance & deviations to appropriate stakeholders.
Provide support to the Global Computer Incident Response Team
Monitor and reporton risks and vulnerabilities with suggested recommendations

Preferred Qualification and Experience:

University graduation with a degree in Business, IT or a related subject
Information Security and /or Information Technology industry certification (CISM, CISSP, or GIAC equivalent) strongly preferred.
Appropriate professional accreditation in IT Security

Experience:

3+  years experiencing managing and leading operations teams
5+ years of hands on experience in design, architecture, engineering or implementation of relevant Information Security Technology solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise:

Self-starter with a strong aptitude and desire to learn, and expand skill set to new technologies, and areas of information security.
Aptitude to learn through research and hands-on experience.
An understanding of information security concepts, regulations, standards, and compliance.
A demonstrated commitment to the information security profession through advanced education, training, certification, or industry participation.
Ability to demonstrate aptitude, interest, and passion in keeping up with information security technical trends, research, and current development.
