Requirements:
Software sales background and/or banking/payments industry experience (not negotiable)
Experience working with vendors
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager
Knowledge and know-how on leading a Sales team
Business-level understanding of the enterprise technology environment
Exemplary work ethic with a proven and verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding
revenue quota in a field sales role
A high-level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate and personal goals
Degree or equivalent experience (preferable but not a deal breaker)

Responsibilities:
Managing sales team, including Account Managers, Solutions Consultants and dotted line
responsibility for Customer Managers and Marketing Manager
Ensuring that the business delivers to it's set sales target and builds a strong pipeline of new business
Management of sales objectives and revenue recognition.
Pipeline management and accurate forecasting
Help to manage and improve relationships with customers with the account team and responsible with the rest of the management team for ensuring high customer satisfaction levels
Manage relationships with partners.
Form part of the Africa senior management team.
Ensure that the team uses internal tools (e.g. salesforce.com) and process correctly and
effectively
Liaison and with other departments specifically collaboration with Services
The role will include travel within the EMEA territory plus US as required.

Reference number for this position is WLAMJ1487 which is a permanent position based in Johannesburg offering R850k to R720k Basic plus commission.
