INTRODUCTION:

GAAP Point of Sale is offering a Call Centre – Support Agent Internship Programme, where successful applicants will be given the opportunity to learn and work at the same time. The positions will be based at our offices in Midrand,
Johannesburg.


ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

• You must be geographically located in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
• Contract duration will be for 12 months
• The Candidates will have a chance to expand their skills base, while receiving mentorship and coaching from the
Call Centre leaders.
• Once the programme has completed, interns may be offered full-time employment with the company.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Must have a valid Matric or equivalent certificate.
• Must possess an Information Technology Tertiary Qualification (minimum of NQF level 5) or currently studying towards one, if the candidate has A+ and N+, this will be an advantage.
• Must be computer literate and be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
• Good Listener, Effective communication skills and Telephone manner.
• Language proficiency in English (speak, read, and write) and any of the below:
• South African Language (at least proficiency in two languages)
• French (the ability to speak and write French would be a great advantage)
• Portuguese (ability to speak, read and write)
• Must be able to work faster and precisely when under pressure while maintaining a calm, polite and professional
manner.
• Must have an outgoing and open personality, problem solver and can think outside of the box.
• Must be able to work seated for long periods of time.
• Ability to work shifts and weekends
• Punctual, presentable, and Proactive.
• Must have little or no working experience.
• Must be results driven and be passionate about winning.
• Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Be unemployed (this should preferably be your first job).
