To provide Business Support Services to the COMPANY, business partnersand private clients by managing IT asset and contract life cycles, billing, Management InformationSystems, Computer Warehouse and Billing processes on behalf of ICT Services in order to ensure ICTServices Centre delivers according to their mandate.
1. Manage all third party contract processes in order to ensure that Service LevelAgreements and regulatory requirements are met. This also includes the management of ICT Request forProposal (RFP) processes, issued to market in order to select an appropriate 3rd partysupplier.
2. Implement billingoperations using current technology to maximize effectiveness and accuracy of existing systems.
3. Monitor and analyse theoperation of systems to ensure the effective delivery of billing information
4. Manage the day to day operation of theorganisations requests including incident handling related to Business Support
5. Manage and coordinate projects related to theBusiness Support Office in order to improve services to ICT and other business units in the COMPANY.This involves project planning, Requirements Analysis, documenting proposals, managing projectresources, cost management etc.
6. Record project costs against budget, investigate and report variations to the Operationsmanager.
7. Prepare paymentschedules against expense plan and from commercial terms of contract, ensuring appropriateescalation and timeous invoicing
8. Develop and maintain a comprehensive Management Information System for use in orpreparation of a variety of management reporting, in order to effectively manage ICT Services’Operations.
9. Manage ICT assetsthroughout its life cycle, through the implementation of practices associated with the asset lifecycle, in order to manage licenses and Infrastructure Hardware warrantees and refreshes.
10. Manage the processes related to an ICTequipment warehouse, in order to ensure appropriate stock levels are kept, equipment are deployedand disposed of in the appropriate manner and licenses are retired and/or re-used where required.
11. Manage staff withinthe Business Support portfolio, to align staff objectives with ICT’s strategic objectives, inorder to ensure all targets, for applicable KPI’s, are achieved
12. Manage the Business Support portfolio inaccordance with legislative and regulatory requirements, through the implementation, monitoring andimprovement of Policies, Processes and Procedures, in order to ensure compliance.
