A large IT distribution companyin Midrand is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer with Dell product knowledge and experience to providetechnical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fullyintegrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market

Duties:

Assists in the analysis, designand development of fully integrated technology solutions.
Act astechnical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology andbusiness requirements of assigned customers.
Technical emphasisis on hardware capabilities, software requirements and systems integration.
Make technical and sales presentations to customer's technical staff and seniormanagement.
Understand Dell EMC and competitive technology andbusiness applications within the assigned market.
Conductresearch, answers questions and removes objections that arise in a salescampaign.
Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers andserves as an internal resource on technical issues or specific business applications within anassigned market segment.
Make technical and sales presentationsto technical staff and top management.
Work with Sales team todevelop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific product andservice and sales plans
Maintain knowledge of competitivesolutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to DELL EMC solutions, and train theaccount team.
Anticipate technology and/or market trends andprovides guidance on their application to external customers and feedback of business requirementsback into DELL EMC's engineering and marketing organizations
Successfully builds relationships with the account team, partners and customers insupport of sales team objectives and engages and leverages corporate resources, abilities, budgetsand personnel as appropriate
Lead technical salescalls
Configure and documents DELL EMC software, hardware andservice solutions to meet customer and sales objectives.
Qualifysales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision makingprocess and funding.
Present and market the design and value ofproposed DELL EMC solution and business case to customers, prospects and DELL EMCmanagement

Requirements:


2-5+ years of enterprise sales engineering management experience, be aself-motivated leader, highly energetic, with a strong hands-on, can doapproach.
Expertise in multiple areasas it relates to cloud architecture including virtualization and/or SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Flash,convergence/hyper-convergence, HPC, advanced server technology,big data,etc.
Knowledge of distributedcomputing, virtual memory subsystem and scale-out storage architecture is aplus.
Demonstrated strong written, oraland presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety ofaudiences, including executive level technical decision-makers.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategicinitiatives.
A high level of businessacumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solvebusiness challenges.
