Role details:

To manage and support customer technical solutions and Provides general technical support on customer systems under guidance of technical specialists.

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Server hardware, Server operating systems, and software. This includes operating system updates,patches, software updates, firmware updates, security patches and general
configuration maintenance.
• Ensuring computer software and hardware facilities are operating at optimum levels and correct any failures, including troubleshooting, diagnosis and rectification of faults.
• Providing primary support to infrastructure
• Work on IT Infrastructure projects
• Implementation and support of virtualized infrastructure
• Provide IT operational support to servers, firewalls, storage, networks
• Administration including MS Windows, AD, O365, SCCM, VMware, HyperV, IBM Spectrum protect/TSM, Veeam B&R, Exchange
• Drive a proactive culture to reduce common causes of operational problems.
• Understand the requirements of being part of a 24x7 on-call operation
• Operates closely with associated infrastructure service teams to meet SLA’s and resolve problems


- 2+ years’ experience supporting MS environments within a large and highly complex organisation
- Significant hands-on experience in administering Office 365 environments (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Azure AD, VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, IBM Spectrum Protect)
- Design, Maintenance, Support, Deployment, Implementation, Systems Engineering (Cloud Engineer, Backup & Disaster Recovery)
- Strong analytical, reasoning, organization, time management and problemsolving skills
- Experience providing Microsoft application & operating system support
- Extensive experience in VMware and Hyper-V Design, Implementation, and maintenance
- Extensive experience managing Exchange - O365 -
- Strong technical skills supporting Hardware & Software
Microsoft Server operating systems and Infrastructure services (2013 - 2019)
- Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS
MS Exchange , MS SQL, O365 Administration
Backup, Replication Disaster Recovery technologies and processes
- Storage technologies i.e. RAID, SAN, NAS
- Extensive Windows Server/Exchange/Active Directory administrative skills.
- Subject matter expertise for Microsoft 365 services, including Teams,
- SharePoint, OneDrive
- Hands on experience with MS Teams audio/video integration and administration
- Understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Active Directory
- Federation Services (ADFS)
- Strong Knowledge of Office 365 supporting technologies including but not limited to, Active Directory, DirSync, Active Directory Federation Services
- (ADFS), Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies, Intune, Azure SSO and MFA
- Experience in PowerShell and Scripting to support administration and automation of M365 management
