TM1 Developer and Administrator sought to join privately owned, global leader founded at the end of the 19th century. They have grown exponentially and currently employ over 4800 people in offices located in over 45 countries across 5 continents. Their global footprint and cutting-edge business operations necessitated a digital transformation, and they now employ powerful enterprise solutions to enable collaborative planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. To this end, they are looking for a TM1 Developer and Administrator, based in South Africa, who will form part of the global team, working closely with multiple teams throughout the company, and participate in the definition, development, and implementation of business solutions, to help the company evolve towards innovative decision support solutions. You will actively participate in the overall project cycle including requirements capturing, modelling and design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation. Key responsibilities will include the design and development of cubes, dimensions, hierarchies using MDX functions; working with multi-functional teams to develop solutions that enhances performance and automate manual tasks; maintaining a scalable and up to date environment that will support current and future business growth; evaluating and fine tuning the overall performance of TM1/PA Applications to meet business needs and avoid downtime; assisting with planning and scheduling project deliverables, goals, and milestones; designing and maintaining technical documentation, including the platform roadmap; and participating in the areas of mentorship and knowledge sharing. To apply you should have a BSc Computer Science Degree or similar coupled with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. You should be well versed in designing TM1 security and user access management with strong knowledge in writing TM1 TI Scripts/Processes. You will need to have development experience in PAW/PAX dashboards and reports; strong knowledge of relational databases, multidimensional data, functional databases, SQL, be highly proficient in reading and writing advanced SQL queries, and have experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C++, and Python. The role will suit someone with an excellent ability to understand and translate business needs into effective solutions, both at the business and technical levels, and you will need to demonstrate proficiency in understanding and implementing business solutions and processes. The position requires someone with solid experience with continuous integration/deployment environments as well as relevant finance and manufacturing experience with knowledge of financial planning functions and related processes. You will need to have the ability to resolve escalated problems quickly and efficiently with proven success in handling conflicting demands and priorities effectively using a proactive approach to resolving problems. The role will call on your excellent time-management and organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and your ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
