Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• RHCE
• More than 2 years in a similar role
• Advance Linux administration skills on RHEL or CENTOS.
• System Engineer certification in RHEL – RHCE or more.
• Linux administration skills on RHEL or CENTOS - Advanced.
• Openshift experience – Intermediate.
• Virtualization experience
• JBOSS, Tomcat, and Glassfish implementation, configuration and maintenance.
• Database experience on MySQL or any database derivative through administration and writing SQL queries
• Container experience on Docker, vagrant or Kubernetes – Intermediate.
• Shell, Python scripting experience
• Cloud infrastructure experience (built and managed) on any of the following: AWS
• Automation experience with Ansible – Intermediate Experience.
• NGINX/Apache experience – Intermediate experience.
• Intermediate understanding of networks, vlans and 3Tier applications.
• Exposure to software development
Advantageous:
• Any Cert after the RHCE cert
• Ansible or Openshift certified
• AWS/Azure cert
• RHCA
• Java, Python
• Openstack
• Jira application stack such as bamboo, git etc
• Advanced scripting on either shell, py.
• Advanced implementation knowledge.
• AWS/Azure architect.
