Purpose of the role:Accountable for leading the development of back-end projects and ensuring the technical architecture of these are sound.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Experienced in:
- REST API development (3 to 5 years)
- C# experience (3 to 5 years)
- ASP.NET experience (1 to 3 years)
- MSSQL experience (1 to 3 years
Advantageous skills:
- Hosting ASP.NET apps on Azure
- Redis
- Elasticsearch
- Web development - Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Monitoring tools like New Relic or Traceview
- Git
- Experience with distributed data centres, using failover & redundancy in architecture
- Team player
- Ability to adapt to different tools or workflows
- Passionate about keeping abreast of new technologies
- Ability to handle pressure
