A independent information security and compliance service company helping clients recognise and control IT-related risks and maintain compliance worldwide is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join their team. Your primary role will be to support the frontline defence of clients networks protecting information from unauthorised and violations by analysing and assessing potential security risks.Minimum Educational Requirements
• 1-2 years experience
• CCNA
• SSCP
• Linux RHCE
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash/Perl/Python)

Additional requirements:

• Reviews the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency
• Creates new trouble tickets for alerts that signal an incident and require Tier 2 / Incident Response review.
• Runs vulnerability scans and reviews vulnerability assessment reports. Manages and configures security monitoring tools (netflows, IDS, correlation rules, etc.).
• Develop, maintain and promote security policies, procedures, standards and awareness.
• Support other teams in the group and operations to respond to cyber incidents by providing research and analysis.
