DescriptionCODE: LJ4 RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyse the user requirements
Accurate estimation of development effort involved to produce system as per user requirement
Take part in analysis and system design
Produce detailed specifications for both in-house development and integration with third party platforms
Participate in specification and design evaluation and review done by peers
Develop code that is easy to maintain and understand with quality of software and application the focus
May need to write programs from the beginning or amend existing programs to meet the requirements needs
All software developed according to prescribed coding standards
Participate in code reviews of peers
Unit test software, check test results and fix technical problems (bugs)
Plan, design and author test points and guidance to quality tester
Prepare accurate installation documents
Authoring support documentation needed by implementation partners
Liaise with training partners and provide guidance for release information and training points
Participate in software build/release activities
Maintenance and support of current systems and fixing of bugs
Accurate progress reports as required by project manager
Requirements
Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate
Certificate / Diploma in Information Systems
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software developing
ERP System experience
.Net web development experience
In depth knowledge of programming skills
Familiarity with Unix
Familiarity with source code control systems
Understanding of warehouse management systems
Advanced: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
