Information Systems Division
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for the delivery of IS Projects within the Enterprise and Customer Application Programmes to the Pick n Pay Group.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:• Planning and delivery of large/complex IS project(s) within the relevant IS Programme(s)
• Building and managing the relationship with the business areas of accountability within the IS Programme(s)
• Delivery to the overall IS prioritisation of projects within the IS Programme(s)
• Highlighting and managing risks of and issues with projects within the IS programme(s)
• Highlighting the interdependencies of projects within the IS Programme(s)
• Reporting progress of projects back the IS Programme Manager
• Building a relationship and working closely with IS Capability leads
• Resource allocation of technical teams to projects
• Budgeting of the managed IS projects within the IS Programme(s)
• Governance and adherence to group audit and IS governance frameworks
• Preparing the content for the divisional steering committees
• Administration of the Projects within the IS programme
• Staying abreast of technology and framework trends in area of competency
• Staying abreast with business model and framework trends in area of competency

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification essential
• Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in IS Project Management preferable
• 3 – 5 years IT Development experience essential
• 3 – 5 years in managing projects of IT business applications essential
• 3+ years in the Retail industry advantageous
• 3+ years in application development advantageous
• Experience managing large SAP projects advantageous
• Proven resource management experience
• Application of IT governance principles
• Proven experience with financial budgeting and cost of IT initiatives
• Proven experience with Agile and Scrum
