CORE DESCRIPTION:

• Manage the customers Hardware IT Assets
• Ensure all related Systems are updated with asset movement as per calls logged
• Provide related Asset Reporting
• Attend to customer escalations
• Deliver against the Customer Specific Asset Management Processes and Procedures
• Action on exception reporting and ensure corrective updates to the Hardware Asset database
• Action on escalations and provide prompt feedback
• Manage the Store Rooms and control stock movement in and out.
• Perform in-Scope Contract Management Services

KEY DELIVERABLES / PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Support the End-End Asset life-cycle IT Asset process through continuous updates to the status of the Hardware Assets as changes are effected
• Assist with the population & maintenance of the Hardware database
• Assist in internal Hardware Database verification exercises and action on exceptions
• Assist in audit exercises to confirm asset database accuracy
• Deliver against the Customer Specific Asset Management Processes and Procedures
• Manage the in-scope Hardware assets in the customer environment
• Manage IT Asset Calls logged requiring updates of the Hardware Asset Register
• Action on Exception reporting and ensure corrective updates to the Hardware Asset database
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports as defined to the ITAM manager
• Action on escalations and provide prompt feedback
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Asset database
• Perform specific IMACDE activities ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Action on calls assigned and update the ITSM system
• Attend to escalations and ensure all calls assigned are attended to
• Perform data quality updates to ensure data integrity
• Manage customer expectations through continuous feedback on the call status
• Perform Periodic Stores audits and identify/correct any discrepancies
• Assist in the implementation of the Customer specific Continual Improvement Plan as agreed to
• Perform Contract Management services to ensure that the start and end-dates of license contracts are updated in Flexera
• Facilitate the Contract renewal process by interlocking with the applicable business owner and licensing vendors.
• Provide applicable Contract Management reporting as required to effectively manage the Contract Management Service


EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 Years ITAM experience


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• ITIL V3 Preferred
• Knowledge of ITAM Tools (Remedy preferred)
