To provide guidance in strategic solutions relating to core business processes whileensuring leadership in architecture and to exploit information in the business.Ensure solutions are justified in terms ofvalue to the business.
Designsolutions and ensure they are technically viable.
Ensure architectural guidelines are met.
Maintain relationships with customers andvendors.
Minimize costs byensuring total cost of ownership and economy of scale.
Perform quality assurance in project execution.
Assist in documenting and planning of the corestrategy relating to the core value chain.

JobOutputs:
Ensure value realisation through process metrics and application utilisation.
Ensure exploitation of current investments.
Understands the functionality ofcurrent applications and how it supports the business objectives.
Identify anddetermine business requirements and map business processes.
Identify and evaluatenew products and benchmarks for information solutions supporting respective business processes.
Determine current investment business rules.
Ensure that solutionsare aligned to architecture framework.
Ensure optimisation and standardisation ofsolutions within respective business processes.
Define standards and usage rulesfor solutions within business processes.
Establishes and maintain relationshipswith all relevant stakeholders and role players to obtain consensus in core solutions vision andmission.
Ensure quality of solutions meet technical and operationalrequirements.
Deploy solutions according to acceptable methodology.
Life Cycle Management planning and execution for both IT infrastructure and applications.
Ensure compliance to client’s architecture frameworks.
Business Operations:
Document business requirements.
CompileFunctional Design Specification (FDS) documents.
Identify gaps between new &existing business processes & applications & liaise with Solution Architects forresolutions.
Support project team members with systems knowledge, define testpacks and drive UAT’s.
Ensure business requirements are met throughoutproject execution.
Value realization through information exploitation.
Resolve systems issues to maximize IT systems investments.
Identify andmitigate ICT business risks.
Provide formal and informal training to users.
Customer relationship management.
Manage stakeholders byco-coordinating service level escalations.
Create visibility and communicateservices provided to the customer.
Negotiate and implement activities required tofulfil and service all customer arrangements.
Manage stakeholder’sexpectations from a customer and IM perspective.
Provide relevant communication tothe respective stakeholders.
Drive resolution of incident and problemmanagement within the BU.
Establish and maintain customer focused culture withinthe IM department.
Promote teamwork, provide support and manage performance.
Identify and resolve stakeholder issues.
Maintain and ensure ahealthy environment, safe operations and practices.
Ensure compliance with allrelevant SHEQ policies, procedures and set standards.
Encourage a culture thatfocuses on safety and health.
Experience: Managementof information and Business processes 3 – 5 years (Essential/Minimum)
Project Management exposure 2 years(Essential/Minimum)
Qualifications: Relevant ICT degree (BSc Computer systems, BSC Computer Science, B.Com Informatics, etc.)(Essential/Minimum)
Requirements: Certificate of fitness(Essential/Minimum)
