Our client, a leading ITDistributor of hardware and Software products has a challenging and rewarding position available foran Internal Account Manager

Purpose of position:
Promote the sale of all products and services portfolio, effectively and efficiently to resellerchannel.
Key ResponsibilityAreas:

Professionally and efficiently manage customer telephonic andemail engagement with a view to maximizing sales and increasing partner delight. 
Drive sales to meet individual and team targets monthly, quarterly and annual gross profittarget.
Quote and provide accurate pricing and product information to customers within SLAtimeframes.
Support customers and team members as and when required, with their associateddatabase of clients (telephonic, order placing, quoting, delivery, POD’s, queries, paymentsand information)
Work closely with product managers, BDMs, debtors (resolve queries,encourage early payments) and logistics (ensure fastest possible order processing) to resolvematters and communicate on prospective deals.
Maintain excellent customerrelationships
Adhere to professional telephone and email etiquette guidelines.
Attend training weekly to continuously improve product knowledge, as well as attend vendor andcustomer events on an ongoing basis.
Backorder follow-up and executing of queries includingoffering alternative in-stock items (cross and upselling).
Understand, engage and developskills in company procedures, processes and back office management.
Update CRM / Tools toensure customer detail accuracy and allow for proactive marketing.
Manage the sourcing anddelivery of products to the customer, and generate interest in all brands, keeping customersinformed of new products and IT innovation opportunities.
Drive outbound marketingcampaigns, ensuring customer awareness of incentives / promotions, and provide feedback to CampaignManager.
Work in a team environment, dealing with and efficiently direct all customerrelated enquiries

 
JobRequirements:
Education &Experience

Matric/Grade 12 with Exemption (preferred) 
 
/p>
Minimum 2 years sales experience inIT industry
(essential)
 
/p>
Sales and/or marketing qualification (optional)
Technical Competencies:
/p>
Computer Literacy and NumericSkills (essential)
 
/p>
Fluentin English
 
/p>
Excellent E-Mailetiquette 
 
/p>
Excellent telephone manner
 
/p>
Strong Admin Skills
 
/p>
Self-Starter as well as team player

Previous experience in a call centre environment

Experienced Microsoft Office suiteuser
