Role details:
The primary responsibility of the Sr Manager – Robotic Process Automation is to manage the Robotic Process Automation technical team, collaborate with counterparts, and act as a liaison with business customers to identify, prioritize, define and implement operational automation opportunities.

Key deliverables / Primary functions:• Direct all aspects of robotic process automation (RPA) program activities which include customer/stakeholder engagement and the technical development, delivery, operations and on-going support for the Center of Excellence (CoE) organization.
• Drive strategic and tactical roll-out of RPA solutions to achieve specific business objectives.
• Facilitate business customers requirements gathering, process definition and process innovation activities.
• Create sprint plans, conduct scrum meetings, identify and mitigate program risks, manage and report on program activities and liaison with business stakeholders.
• Be the “voice” of RPA to the Telkom teams to include program correspondence, training, and process automation best practices.
• Drive cost, schedule and delivery performance of the RPA CoE team; facilitate RPA resource hiring process when needed.
• Work with global RPA colleagues to manage license allocation, align on best practices, and share work products.
• Liaison with the RPA supplier to plan for upgrades, outages and its related communication to the business stakeholder.

• Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience:
• 7 years’ experience managing complex technical projects.
• Experience with RPA software; Automation Anywhere RPA preferred.
• Experience with programming languages (such as C++), testing procedures, and similar activities related to the software development lifecycle preferred.
• Extensive project planning and implementation experience to prioritize work activities and accomplish project goals within set timeframes.
Qualifications:
• 3 yr (NQF 7) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• Master’s degree (NQF8) in a technical discipline preferred.
