Role details:
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory.

Key Responsibility Areas:
 Working with internal and external customers and partners to architect solutions.
 Establishing value and build trust & goal alignment with resellers and vendor.
 Telephonic technical support to customers and internal staff on IaaS / PaaS / SaaS solutions.
 Managing & utilizing vendor knowledge bases and tools.
 Build and maintain relationships with resellers and vendor.
 Continuously upgrade skills to allow optimum support and sales ability.
 Assisting in the development of support material for partners including Partner Training
 Working with Product Managers in managing partner requirements.
 Run product & solution demonstrations to prospective partners and customers.
 In-depth knowledge of industry technologies and trends.
 Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, and selling skills to assess and assist partners.
 Competitive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent team building and listening skills.
 Achieve team and individual targets as set by the business.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
 Matric/Grade 12
 Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT field
 Knowledge regarding IBM Cloud products is essential
 Operating Systems and Application experience Technical Competencies:
 MS Office (Advanced) essential
 Industry related technical certifications – that are current.
 Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development.
 Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new IBM business
 Business development, prospecting and presentation skills.
 IBM knowledge and/or knowledge of IBM’s competitors; specifically around the IaaS, SaaS and PaaS portfolio of products
