 Purpose of position:

Develop andmanage the Oracle partner base

Maintain and grow existing partners adjacent red stacktechnologies
 Key ResponsibilityAreas:



As BDM you oversee the mission to recruit, enable,grow your partners/reseller community in accordance with the vendors growth expectations andscorecard requirements, including marketing and demand generation.

Takeresponsibility for keeping yourself and your partner/reseller up to date on program updates andchanges, certifications and vendor announcements

Conduct and execute effectivebusiness planning workshops with your partners/resellers effective marketing execution, you willincorporate the following marketing activities:



Attend a series of keyvendor marketing web casts/conference calls on how to leverage the vendors marketing resources todrive business growth

Attend a series of vendors announcement and update webcasts/conference calls on programme and product updates/enhancements to be disseminated to yourpartners/resellers

Actively work with partners/resellers on lead status, progressionand closure and encourage deal registration, poc/pov, forecasting by yourpartners/resellers.



Manage every aspect of your partner/reselleraccounts

Build relationships at all levels within thevendors

Facilitate technical training for yourpartners/reellers

Conduct sales training with yourpartners/resellers

Where required attend customer visits with yourpartners/resellers

Drive an internal gross profit target

Sales funnelmanagement – present weekly sales funnel at the weekly team meeting

Set up andmaintain a customer database and skills matrix

Ensure that rebates are achieved bydriving the necessary behaviour internally and externally

Submit weekly sales reportand customer call reports to the line manager

Submit monthly/quarterly sales andexecutive analysis reports to your partners/resellers.


Job Requirements:
Education &Experience:

Matric/Grade 12
Tertiaryqualification preferential
Oracle or similar vendor application and/or hardware salesexperience

TechnicalCompetencies:

Building and maintaining relationshipswith your existing and new resellers
Business development and program management within yourallocated reseller accounts
Recruitment and enablement of new resellers
Accountplanning and performance analysis
Exceeding sales targets
Building relationship withdesignated vendor  - existing relationships will be advantageous
Preparing of PartnerPlans and business development plans
Training partners/resellers on sales and incentiveprogrammes
Facilitating technical and brand sales training for yourresellers
Facilitating and assistance with marketing events to generate leads for yourresellers
