Purpose of position:Promote the sale of products by developing client relationships, increasing the skill levelwithin staff and clients and advising clients in the configuration and pricing of the solutions.
Key ResponsibilityAreas:
Promote the sale of products effectively and efficiently to customersvia personal visits, telephone and email contact, marketing and training events.
Prospect fornew customers and generate interest in products with clients currently not reselling.
Identify and develop underperforming customers.
Work closely with the vendor ondeals/tenders to ensure they are secured for the company and its resellers.
Involve theVendor and sales in customer meetings, be tactful in the approach and follow through with at leastthree key action points per meeting.
Work closely with resellers, understand their targetsfrom the vendor and gain majority market share within their businesses.
Provide first leveltechnical advice on products and keep customers informed of new developments in product set.
Professionally and efficiently manage customers engagement with a view to maximizing the clientexperience.
Reports on lost deals with reasons and pending deals (pipeline).
Displayaccuracy regarding messages, quotes, orders and information given.
Answer customer queries,offer product information.
Consult with clients to establish the needs of their business.
Ensure customer expectations are met – order taking and delivery.
Increase overallcustomer satisfaction of new and existing customers’ base in order to be effective in solvingchallenges that arise, and need to be solved for the customers. Report weekly on all activities winsand losses.
JobRequirements:
Education &Experience
Matric/Grade 12
IT tertiary qualification preferential
Minimum 3 years front line sales and business developmentexperience (essential)
TechnicalCompetencies:
Building and maintaining relationships with existing and newBusiness Partners
Business development and program management within your allocated Business Partner accounts
Recruitment and enablement of newBusiness Partner
Accountplanning and performance analysis
Exceeding sales targets
Preparing of Partner Plans and business development plans
Facilitating technical and brandsales training for your Business Partners
Facilitating and assistance with marketing events to generate leadsfor your Business Partners
