Tolead and manage operational team and associated activities related of Wholesale (MVNE) BusinessSupport Systems; including Billing, Mediation, partner management and VAS, by ensuring high serviceperformance, quality and approval of proposed technical enhancements and integration of newdevelopment in line with the defined MVNO strategies and wholesale business plan for MVNE.Provide technical leadership, operational direction, and team management for the operations,maintenance, support, planning and implementation of the IT solutions to support Cell C’s MVNEand MVNO applications. This includes the XSP, interconnect and roaming environments as well.Roles•Lead and monitor the operational effectiveness of services provided by Wholesale Operations.Ensure all MVNE projects operationalized meets requisite quality, desired functional requirement andwithin allocated budget•Establish and manage the Operations Support Standards and Procedures through definition ofthe Operations Manual per operational MVNO.•Oversee as 2nd line support of all aspects of day-to-day systems fault and issues, troubletickets issues by Service Management Centre (SMC) and Change Control.Participate in developing, implementing and monitoring the management information systems policiesand controls to ensure data accuracy, security and regulatory compliance, maintaining and testingbusiness continuity / disaster recovery plans.•Make strong relationship with the vendors both on Managed Service partners and MVNE vendor,3rd party system providers•Manage the relationship with key vendors across Wholesale Business organization.•Manage the vendors performance based on contractual SLA and support obligations and drive thevendors’ performance to achieve the target•Monitor and report on vendors performance at a functional and management level•Carry and champion the Wholesale Business needs and targets to ensure the vendors to perform•Manage and resolve technical disputes with the vendor•Strictly apply and adhere to Cell C Health and Safety procedures and rules•Manage conformance to Legislation and Cell C Health, Safety and Environmental standards•Manage, identify and minimize Cell C’s exposure to operational risk•Monitor, investigate and report all health and safety matters and incidents•Establish, evaluate and guide the department’s Employee Performance Managementprogramme•Provide an advisory, support and mentorship function•Initiate the appropriate Labour Relation action required within section•Uphold HR policies and procedures

Skills and Experience
Post Grad Degree Qualification in Engineering / IT or BSc relatedMasters qualification advantageous8-12 Years in the Telecommunications/IT Industry6 years in the BSS area, with specific knowledge of Billing, CRM, VAS domain3 years MVNE/MVNO in the industry advantageous5-7 years in ManagementExperience in managing external software and service vendors
