Key Accountabilities
Clarify requirements with business and externalstakeholders.
Document user stories.
Developing Business Requirements Specifications whereapplicable.
Developing Functional Requirements Specifications whereapplicable.
Review technical documentation produced by developers.
Quality Assurance ofuser stories.
Ability to conduct JAD sessions internally, with developers and withclients.
Provide support to the business in recommending and implementing solutions
Development of test packs, including test cases and testscripts.
Execution of test packs for software implementations.
Continuouscommunication with the internal and external development team.
Documentation of defects and testresults during the testing phase of the SDLC.
Ensuring that all software releases have been tested to anacceptable standard.
Assistance with User Acceptance Testing for clients - provide UATsupport to the business and external clients.
Conduct a due diligence and gap analysis
Act as a changeagent
Provide coaching/mentorship to team members and assist with trainingwhere relevant.
Review training material and provide assistance to the trainingteam.
Assist with Enterprise Architecture initiatives and drive specificdeliverables on these.
Liaison with project team members i.e. project managers and developersand other project stake holders
Work closely with the System Architect and be actively involved indelivering strategic initiatives and projects for the organisation.
Involved with the productionsupport of software, including problem analysis and problem resolution where necessary.
Testing of theresolution of production bugs, data scripts and reports.
Gain a thorough knowledge of the softwareapplications provided by Silica.


Skills & Experience
Knowledge of the financial industry (preferably InvestmentBanking).
Experience on an automated testing tool (not mandatory, but anadvantage)
Experience with software implementation projects.
Experience with working inproject teams.


JAD facilitation skills
Proficiency in MS Office (including MS Access)
Analysis (Business andfunctional) and testing experience in the SDLC
Experience writing user stories
Knowledge of Behaviour DrivenDevelopment (BDD)
Ability to write and interpret database queries. (SQL)
Ability to read/followVisual Basic , C or Java script
Understanding of XML
Understanding of how component based systems fit andinterface with each other
Good understanding of the system development life cycle
Knowledge of the roleof Product owner, Scrum master and Team member in agile environment.
Gain a good understanding of thefinancial industry and relevant business sectors serviced by Silica.
Estimate effort required tocomplete stories and report against estimated timings
Collaborate with team members in an agileteam.
