Requirements/ Skills:
? A programming diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science will be an advantage
? 5+ years’ experience in programming
? At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in Oracle suite SQL and PL/SQL Development
? Extensive skills in: Forms, Reports, Cobol, UNIX, System analysis and design -
? System analysis and design experience including services design
? Knowledge and experience on the Compass system
KEY Responsibilities:
? Execute services within agreed SLA’s
? Translate business requirements into system requirements
? Ensure accuracy of code and adherence to requirements
? Ensure system quality and sustainability
? Adhere to company’s governance procedures
? Liaise with Users, Business Analysts and Support staff.
? Provide written and verbal feedback to users, team members and management
? Ensure production changes are managed within the release cycle
? Ensure business unit satisfaction
? Ensure end user performance by implementing initiatives to improve system performance
? Provide subject matter expert advice for applications under Engaging the portfolio
? Assist in the development of key standards
? Proactively identify and manage risks
