No, run it!!A large freight forwarder with a large global footprint and offerings across the spectrum is looking to reinforce their sales team by bringing in a business development expert based in their Johannesburg office. This company has an excellent network and the operational backup to support your sales.
In this role you need to have a solid proven background in freight forwarding sales, as well as experience of managing the complete sales pipeline, from generating leads, booking appointments, presenting to clients, compiling tenders, on-boarding business to the operational team and managing the account and building relationships. You will also be responsible for up selling to existing clients and maximising business opportunities and ultimately revenue & profit which means more commission for you.
If you come from a freight forwarder and can prove your achievements within your current or past roles then this is an excellent opportunity to join a very well respected forwarder in which you will be given every opportunity to progress within the organisation.

Qualification:
Degree: BCom. or equivalent qualifications preferable


Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in the Clearing & Forwarding industry


Skills Required:
Negotiation and closing skills
