2. Purpose of Role: To provide onsite application supportrelating to a factory production environment.3. Primary Role Accountabilities:
· End User Support in a factory environment
· Application trouble-shooting / support
· Liaise with external resources(3rd Party Management) to facilitate resolution of 3rdparty Incidents
Assist in troubleshooting Incidents and action ServiceRequests logged for the Flexnet environment (Incident Management / Request Management)
Assisting with troubleshooting incidents on all qualified Factory Applications
Abilityto do root cause analysis and troubleshooting across systems to resolveincidents.
Critical Requirements - Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Matric or Grade 12 Essential
A+ or N+ or studying towards an ITQualification
Desktop Support Skills (Intermediate to Senior)
MCSE/MCP/MCITP would be beneficial
Proven experience in providing IT support inthe context of an Industrial Automation (IA) / Factory Production environment
Proficient in Windows 7, Windows server (Active Directory) and MS-Office suite
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Must be able to workindependently.
Self-driver, go-getter attitude.
Ability to work well in a teamcontext
Must be able to cope under pressure
Must bepunctual, disciplined and dedicated to effectively execute job requirements keeping in mind INTERNALand CUSTOMER HR and IT policies
After hours support based on shiftschedules
Previous exposure to supply chain management processes beneficial
Willingness to support multiple application systems that are part of the ecosystem in thefactory
Ability to do troubleshooting across systems (IT and IA) to resolveincidents
Willing to work in a factory environment
Willing to workin a shift environment
Passionate about quality of service delivered
ITIL exposurebeneficial (Service delivery focused)
Needs to be able to work at heights and pass anannual medical exam
Advantageous:
Knowledge of Domino, Cimjet and Laser label printers
MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
Motorola Scanners
Cherwell ServiceDesk
FMCG/Manufacturing knowledge
