Ourexternal client is currently in a process in recruiting for a Senior MES Systems Analyst/ Consultantfor a 12 Months project to consolidate complex expectations and requirements from variousstakeholders into a common set of documents to support the project.TheDigital transformation journey touches many areas. We are looking for candidates with experience andexpertise on Production Management, Operations Management, Energy Management, Asset Management,Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.
 
Responsibilities:

Write design criteria, design basis andsystem/functional requirements specifications
Serve as advisor / support to the projectimplementation teams to clarify and validate requirements
Ability to act on the bestinterest of the client as part of Owners Team when pplicable, including managing confidentiality ofinformation
Ability to work with client's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs),  DigitalSolutions Architects and Vendor Technical and Project teams to qualify, validate and refinerequirements
Participate on Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test and ClientAcceptance Test to validate requirements
Capture and write clear and concise business(including business processes) and technical requirements documents for both internal and externalstakeholders including support for client proposals and estimates
Support and facilitationof client workshops (based on experience)
Communicate with different level of stakeholdersof the client organization serving as a communication bridge from business to technical stakeholdersand from technical to business stakeholders.
Document as-is and to-be maturity states forclients’ visions, and assist mapping the deficiency, gaps, risks and mitigations with theintroduction of the potential digital technologies
Define and document project chartersincluding proof of concepts (POC), proof of value (POV) or Pilots projects.
Remain abreastof the technology trends and frameworks in their area of experience and expertise
Workwith  digital product managers to identify industry solution gaps and requirements
Assist on the development and refinement of clients tools (e.g. methodologies, standards,frameworks and templates) required to deliver Digital projects
Preparation of commercialproposals

 
MinimumQualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Light Current or Equivalent) or InformationTechnology
10+ years experience of business and systems analysis experience in Industry 4.0like applications in Mining or other relevant industrial sectors
Minimum of 3 years workingas a MES developer, architect or consultant
Must have knowledge of MES including ability tocreate conceptual designs and architectures, craft requirements for visualisations and reporting,and an understanding of ISA 95 or equivalent enterprise architectures
Familiarity withinteroperability challenges with systems integration
Experience with business processes inthe area of Production Management, Operations Management, Energy Management, Asset Management,Logistics and Supply Chain Management for industries such as Mining, Steel, Alumina, Copper, Oil& Gas or Manufacturing.
Ability to represent client in a professional manner at clientsites, corporate events and professional engagements
Ability to establish and maintain goodworking relationships with client's multidisciplinary and cross sector teams
Strong writtenand verbal communication skills including the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders fromdifferent parts of the world

Additional / Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Familiarity with MES solutions and platforms from major MES vendors
Experiencedeploying and configuring MES software applications and systems
Familiarity with ValueStream Mapping and Design Thinking, experience is an asset
Familiarity with enterprisearchitecture frameworks such as TOGAF is an asset
Experience with UML as a tool for writingbusiness and technical documentation is an asset
Broad knowledge of IT/OT and digitaltechnology trends including ICT and Telecommunication, Control & Automation, IIoT, Blockchain,Big Data, Cloud Computing, AR/VR, Automation, Operations Management and Business Systems is anasset
Strong business development orientation is preferred.
