JOB DESCRIPTION
The Training Officer is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of training, skills development, staff assessment and coaching within the various Divisions within the Company
The Training Officer will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of training, skills development and staff assessments for the entire business. Will be responsible for overseeing the Coaches
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Training as per business unit requirements
Soft Skills Training as per business unit requirements
Sales Training as per business unit requirements
Ad-hoc Training as per business unit requirements
Training material development according to the required standards and Business
Unit specifications
Knowledge and skill assessments
Provide the business units with a report at the end of each training session
Provide the business area with a report at the end of each training session, for
individual learners
Developing the necessary coaching programs aimed at assisting the various call
centres achieving its operating objectives
To provide coaching as per the business needs and to identify training gaps within
the business area and coach learners accordingly
Create strategies for improvement of learning and development
Productivity assessments
On-going communication within the business regarding progress within learning and development
Monthly reporting to internal clients and HR Executive
Daily administration
Updating of individual coaching files and coaching action plans (where necessary)
Scheduling coaching sessions with individual staff within the various call centre (where necessary)
Identifying areas of strength and improvement on individual staff and calibrating
this information with quality data received by the Quality Department
In-house training on scrips, products and systems

EDUCATION
Grade 12 / Matric
STRONG Formal knowledge on training, learning and development
STRONG Formal Coaching, training and knowledge
Registered Facilitator (advantageous
FAIS accreditation (advantageous)
General HR experience (advantageous)
 
Criminal and Credit Clear
Reliable or own transport
Minimum 3 - 4 years' successful experience in Coaching, Training and Development (advantageous)
Experience in Coaching, Training and Development in a call centre environment / Financial Services environment
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with professional manner and commercial acumen and the ability to communicate with enthusiasm and drive
Excellent communication (verbal and written) - Good command of the English language
Passion for Coaching, Training and Development
Able to interact with a wide variety of people
Energetic
Fluent in English (and ideally Afrikaans)
Multi-tasking
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Confident and assertive
Ability to work under pressure
Accuracy
Outgoing & vivacious personality
Ability to work well under pressure and handle pressure
Computer literate - MS Word, Excel (Advanced level), Outlook and CRM
knowledge / experience
