Our external clientbased in Johannesburg CBD is looking for an experienced Cisco Network Engineer / Project Manager ona 3 months contract which is renewable. In this role we require a strong technical resource that canperform project management activities to ensure technical designs are created, reviewed andapproved.Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage IT resources and thirdparties/vendors for the creation of designs

Developing design documentation

Lead project meetings and set expectations

Assessing and analyzingdifferent options for the requirements of the project

Prepare cost estimates

Meeting stakeholders and assessing IT infrastructure needs

Meetingwith IT solution architects and finalizing essential IT infrastructure

 
Skills andQualifications:
Qualified Cisco network engineer

Strong understanding of network infrastructure in a large and complex environment

Knowledge about aspects of information technology specifically within complex infrastructureenvironments

Analytical and observation skills

Good written andverbal communication skills

Planning and organization ability

Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Solid organizational skillsincluding attention to detail and multi-tasking
