Aleading hardware distributor and a powerful software distributor company in South Africa iscurrently recruiting for a External Account Manager-IT - Public Sector to be based in Cape town

External Account MANAGER – ManagedAccounts
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will bebased in Cape Town and will be responsible for the external sales targets within the ManagedAccounts or Public Sector Environment.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
 

Achieve monthly salestargets

Establish and grow new client base within the Publicsector

Maintain client relationships

Maintain client database andforecasts

Develop sales plans per account


 Requirements 

Matric is essential and a tertiary qualification and/or a relevant diploma in Sales and Marketing will be anadvantage



Minimum of 3 years account management experience within the Publicsector

Established network at various levels within the Publicsector

Sales experience within the IT industry will beadvantageous

Own transport and valid driver’s license

Ability toidentify sales opportunities and use skills to develop solutions whenrequired

Ability to deliver presentations to clients and entertain clients whenrequired

Proven track record of closing deals within the Public sector (referencesare required)

Excellent Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel skillsrequired

Service quality orientated

Customerfocused

Copes effortlessly within a high stress and pressurizedenvironment

Excellent communication/writing and people skills
