 Purposeof position:

Responsible for delivery of high quality, accurate designand implementation services to resellers located within all areas in which we take solutions tomarket.
Prospects and develops business with and/or on behalf of partners, assists in RFPresponses, and develops proposals for presentation to customers.
Maintains strongrelationships with clients in respect of technical strategies and integration of HP EnterpriseSystems.
Create and validate HP Enterprise solutions from customerrequirements.
Provide Implementation Services to reseller channel for HP Enterprise Productportfolio – including Servers, Storage, Networking, Operating Systems &applications.

 Key ResponsibilityAreas:

Working with internal and external customers and partners toarchitect solutions.
Establishes value and builds trust & goal alignment withresellers.
Provide first line support on HP Enterprise Products (Logging of support queries,assistance with licensing queries, installation queries)
Telephonic technical support tocustomers and internal staff on HP Enterprise and associated complementaryproducts.
Following-up on all logged queries to the point of closure;
Managing &utilizing vendor knowledge bases and tools.
Build and maintain relationships with Resellerand Vendor technical contacts.
Continuously upgrade skills to allow optimum supportability.
Installation and Configuration of Servers, Storage, Networking, Operating Systems& Applications to the channel.
Assisting in the development of support material forpartners.
Working with Product Managers in managing partner requirements.
PartnerTraining
Maintain Demo equipment and environment.
Run product & solutiondemonstrations to prospective partners and customers.
Maintain and grow competency withOperating Systems and Applications that are part of the solutions created.
In-depthknowledge of industry technologies and trends.
Uses knowledge of technology, products,processes, and selling skills to assess and assist partners.

 Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:

Matric/Grade 12
Minimum 5 years’ experience in ITfield
Knowledge regarding HP enterprise products is essential
Operating Systems andApplication experience

TechnicalCompetencies:

MS Office (Advanced)essential
Industry related technical certifications – that arecurrent.
Technically minded individual
