Our client is looking for a Infrastructure Architect for Midrand areaPurpose of Job/Job Objective:
• Responsible for the development of a systems architecture that describes the complete set of components and interfaces that make up IS application solutions to specified business requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• The specification, product selection and design of infrastructure components to implement systems architecture
• The identification of new and emerging software technologies, methodologies and products, and ICT methods and techniques and the ongoing assessment of their relevance and potential value to the organisation
• Perform related duties as assigned by manager
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma and the required Certification with 6 to 8 years related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
