International concern seeks an experienced Software Tester/Integrator with 1 – 3 years working experience.
Job Description
• Master general principles and software testing methods
• Thorough knowledge of software development concepts
• Knowledge of functional and structural testing design techniques
• Be familiar with the various software development models, including V-development and iterative models and be able to conduct tests as part of a lifecycle model
• Preparation/review of test plans
• Preparation/review of test cases
• Execution of tests
• Reporting of defects
• Preparation of test reports
• Define integration methodologies
• Maintain test content and configurations
• Work with developers to enable running newly-developed features.
• Work with multiple interfaces locally and globally, including internal customers, peer development and integration teams, sub-system providers, automation tools, lab technicians.
• Deploy continuous integration methodologies
• Support internal customers
• Be able to integrate existing software with new hardware

Job Requirements
• Matric
• A + and N + and MCSE Qualification
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (IST QB) Foundation level certification preferable

• 3 years experience in IT support and Windows configuration and customization

• Computer Networking and IT Security

• Scripting knowledge (DOS and Windows)

• Working experience on POS and related areas in retail environments

• Application and hardware integration

• Microsoft office products

• Microsoft operating systems (Windows XP and Windows 7)

• Linux operating systems

• Fault finding and issue resolution

• AS@R suite of products advantageous

• OPOS knowledge advantageous
