Degree (Commerce or Procurement) (RPL may be considered)
Solid Procurement, Systems & Collaboration oversight experience (recent management level)
Solid management of a procurement (& related) application solutions environment
Sound strategic business engagement experience
Strong procurement supply chain management
Ability to lead a team specialising in supply management
Excellent negotiation skills
In-depth knowledge of most recent trends in procurement
Ability to engage at senior and executive level.
Strong analytical and computer skills.

To Do
Provide input to Head of Procurement on formulation of Group's preferential procurement strategy
Develop & implement a strategy to incorporate Preferential Procurement as a shared services offering into group
Execute preferential procurement strategy in an effective and efficient manner
Ensure stakeholder engagements are done across the business to foster buy-in to the supply development strategy
Provide input to the supplier development strategy and action plan
Reporting of Preferential Procurement MIS and business intelligence throughout group
Collaborate with Vendor management concerning the supplier listings
Execute the annual B-BBEE verification for Group
Effective management of the operational budget
Lead and motivate an operational team
