To provide business and process analysis activities to the Rand Mutual Assurance company on projects and system enhancements with the aim of identifying the most effective solutions to business needs.

Experience: (Minimum necessary before being considered for the Job)

At least 5 years job experience, 2 of which should have been in business and process analysis environment
Working knowledge of Visio and/or any other Business Process modelling tool
Worked in a multi-project environment
Running JAD sessions
Performed Business Specifications at a high level and detailed level

Main Functions and Responsibility:

Lead analysis initiatives and service improvement reviews across the business.
Develop and present Business Case justification for EXCO approval
Facilitate and account for leading process re-engineering initiatives
Design and implement new or modified business processes which deliver a more efficient business, while maintaining and improving customer service delivery
Lead the requirements gathering activities, perform a gap analysis, manage requirements traceability, manage user acceptance testing processes and lead small technology projects
Analyse the integrity of the system requirements and perform a risk assessment on each requirement and document and maintain the set of system requirements together with the associated rationale, decisions and assumptions

Develop Business Requirements Specifications
Serve as a bridge between the business and the developers in the support of project delivery and improving business operational effectiveness and efficiency
Provide support to the testers on complex issues
Provide application support for users / trainers / manual writers.
Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.
Assist Manager to draw up departmental requirements for documentation on Share point site. These include, amongst others templates for Specifications, Test Cases, SOP, Process documents, Findings, Policies + Procedures, Impact analysis, feasibility studies, etc. All documents on the site must be reviewed and maintained on an ongoing basis.
Build a library of knowledge based article relevant to the department.
Ensure compliance to the Change Management Policy
