Must have a minimum of 5 years in the ICT sector of which 3 years must have been spent in the Telco environment. Must have solid experience customer solutions and services deployment projects.Job related experience required:
• Relationship management experience and dealing with customers at all levels is a requirement
• 5 years technical experience and relevant technical certification
• Good knowledge of the following technologies: DWDM, SDH, IP, MPLS ,GSM, Fibre Optics etc. 3)
• Experience in working at a Telecoms Operator/ISP would be an advantage.
• Report writing experience is required
• Experience in dealing with cross-functional work groups
Formal Qualifications Required:
• Must have formal technical or project management qualifications/certifications (PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, CAPM, MSP etc.)
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Cisco or similar Certification advantageous
• A technical tertiary qualification would be advantageous
• Excellent understanding of services processes and tools in the South African telecommunications industry would be advantageous
• Excellent understanding of the telecommunications customer value chain
Good understanding of technology, products and services offered by telecoms operators and the telecommunications industry.
