Role details:
My client in the Bryanston areais looking for Business Operation Analyst to join their Product Operations Team. . The successfulcandidate will be required to provide day to day operational support and analytics across thecompany's card payment and value added products, services and systems.

MainDuties:

Thoroughly understand all product / system features andcapabilities
Monitor operational “health” dashboards
Evaluate productand system key performance indicators (KPIs)
Daily checklists and data imports /uploads
Query resolution within TAT – product, merchant, transactional and settlementqueries 
Proactively monitor merchant experience (connectivity issues, transactionspeed, system declines etc.)
Analyse, identify and report on patterns and trends intransactional and query data
Track,  resolve and report on incidents and outages
Maintain incident logs (cause and resolution)
Create and maintain knowledge base ofcommon issues and incidents with suggested resolutions and actions
Customer liaison(inbound & outbound) to resolve all 2nd tier support queries
Upskilling first linesupport (call centre) to minimise escalations
Assist with rolling out operationalinitiatives
Keep up to date with latest payment technologies

Knowledge:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office– especially in Excel
Good understanding of the South African SME market
Operational knowledge of payment switching and authorisation would be advantageous
Technical knowledge of Point Of Sale (POS) devices would be advantageous
Knowledge ofITIL incident management or similar would be advantageous 

 
Qualifications:

Matric
ITIL incident management or similar would be advantageous

 
Experience:

2 –4  years in a similar role
Proven track record
