Purpose of position: Promote the sale by developing client relationships, increasing the skill level within staff andclients, and advising clients in the configuration and pricing of the solutions.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Promote the sale of products effectively and efficiently tocustomers via personal visits, telephone and email contact, marketing and training events
Prospect for new customers and generate interest in products with clients currently notreselling from the organization
Identify and develop underperforming customers
Work closely with the vendor on deals/tenders to ensure they are secured for the organizationand its resellers
Involve the Vendor and Sales in customer meetings, be tactful in theapproach and follow through with at least three key action points per meeting
Work closelywith resellers, understand their targets from the vendor and gain majority market share within theirbusinesses
Provide first level technical advice on products and keep customers informed ofnew developments in product set
Professionally and efficiently manage customers engagement with a view to maximizing the client experience
Display accuracyregarding messages, quotes, orders and information given
Answer customer queries, offerproduct information
Consult with clients to establish the needs of their business
Ensure customer expectations are met (order taking and delivery
Increase overallcustomer satisfaction of new and existing customers’ base in order to be effective in solvingchallenges that arise, and need to be solved for the customers
Report weekly on allactivities wins and losses
JobRequirements:
Education & Experience
Matric/Grade 12
Tertiary qualificationpreferential
Minimum 3 yearsfront line sales experience (essential)
Technical Competencies:
Building and maintainingrelationships with your existing and new Business Partners
Business development and program management within your allocatedBusiness Partner accounts
Recruitment and enablement of new Business Partner
Account planning and performance analysis
Exceeding sales targets
Preparing of Partner Plans andbusiness development plans
Facilitating technical and brand sales training for your Business Partners
Facilitating and assistance withmarketing events to generate leads for your Business Partners
Additional Requirement
Must have own transport and validdriver’s license
