A seasoned Sea Freight Imports Manager needed in Cape Town.My client, an established but ever expanding NVOCC Company with global coverage is recruiting for a Sea Freight Imports Manager. The role requires a confident individual with proven people management and client service skills to accomplish the operational objectives of their department with profitable results.

Responsibilities:
General administration.
Managing all Sea Freight Import Operations.
Ensuring high levels of service and standard of quality.
Employee management and supervision.
Handling creditors and debtors.
Ensure department profitability.

Qualification:
Matric / Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Imports and Exports.

Experience:
In-depth understanding of freight forwarding operations with the ability to problem solve.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Freight Forwarding and NVOCC with 2/3 years in a supervisory role.
Previous experience in managing a strong team.
Working knowledge of labour legislation.

Skills Required:
Building professional relationships.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Self-Management.
Computer literacy.
