My client has a need for a Delphi Developer who will effectively investigate, develop and maintain the company’s products against industry standards and client requirementsPurpose of the role:
- Achieve strategic and operational objectives for the development department
- Keep abreast of technology development and ensure appropriate technology is used by the company.
- Ensure system design and architecture is optimal for the company’s strategy and objectives.
- Ensure maximum service deliverables so that clients needs and response are met timeously


Qualifications and experience required:
- Matric
- Relevant 3 year diploma or degree
- Minimum of 3 years Delphi development experience on Delphi version 7 or higher
- Experience with OO design and implementation
- SQL
- XML
- Version control (Subversion or Git)
- Experience with n-tier design and implementation (server and client)
- General good knowledge of network protocols especially HTTP, SMTP

Advantageous
- Delphi XE or newer (especially Generics)
- JSON
- Firebird 2.5x
- PostgreSQL 8.x or newer
