Role details:
Contractor required for a services consulting organisation, to be located on a major Bank with the following experience required:

- experience and exposure to the Banking/ ICT Industry
Good understanding of ITIL processes and associated concepts.
- experience in a high degree of commercial awareness with sound understanding of key contractual obligations and risks to maximize benefits
- experience in understanding the concepts of service delivery and support.
- experience in operating with highly demanding clients.
- experience in the designated Database platform

Preferred / Advantage:
- experience in understanding of ITIL processes and associated concepts.
- experience working with project teams and programme management
- experience working with database security and controls in the Financial / Banking Sector

Knowledge & Skills:

Subject matter Expert in (either one or more) Oracle, Data Warehouse and Ingres, DB2 UDB(LUW), SQL Server (Advanced)

Stakeholder management skills
High level understanding of methodology for troubleshooting technical issues

Senior Certification in a related technology would be an
advantage

Ø Oracle Real Application Clusters – versions 11g release 2 with Grid infrastructure
Ø Oracle Automatic Storage Management build and design expertise

Ø Oracle on Redhat Linux
Ø Upgrade and Migration of Oracle from Windows to Linux experience
Ø Database Migration across platforms
