Job Description: Policy Administrator
Department:Customer Service Centre
Main Purpose:
The effective and efficient execution of the policy administration process to ensure the timeous issuing and amendments to new and current policies, whilst building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) namely brokers, clients, service providers.
Job Objectives:
To monitor, measure and control the policy administration processes and procedures in adherence to company policies and regulations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

To deal with all escalated policy administration matters outside the staff mandate.
To monitor, measure and analyse statistics to correct any deviations in daily transactions.
To detect and refer breached underwriting mandates to the retail underwriting team and Branch Managers for possible risk exposures.
To adjust and retain current policies.
To reduce company risk through endorsements and cancellations of high risk exposure policies.
To monitor and control the facultative reinsurance referrals to underwriting.
To monitor on a monthly basis that debit order policies are allocated correctly and the processing of refunds.
Renewal selection of all monthly and annual policies on monthly basis.
System testing as and when required.

Job Experience:
Minimum 2 year experience in short term insurance
Education:

NQF Level 4 Insurance Qualification
FAIS Compliance
