Overall Purpose of the Job

Overall management of Alistair Mozambique operations.

Accountability & Responsibility Areas

Manage the workshop team
Implement flawless HSE culture in workshops and yards
Developing and Maintaining a motor vehicle and equipment plant register
Conducting remote site maintenance on a regular basis
Keeping records of all mmaintenance activities and analysing vehicle costs using the Fleet Maintenance pro system.
Minimize theft by monitoring tires and spare parts.
Setting up specific maintenance schedules for trucks & equipment.
Implementing Budini tire software while respectively updating existing data's and tire branding.
Maintaining the highest quality standard for existing and future workshop operations.
Grade drivers after every trip and operators at regular intervals to assess how well they are treating their trucks/machines
Active involvement in recruitment of required workshop personnel and drivers.
Maintaining discipline, safety of workshop personnel and drivers to company's regulations at all times.
Sourcing strategy for spares and keep stock in an efficient level.
Plan, assign and review work of mechanics, electricians and welders using maintenance schedules and job cards.
Oversee stores and stock level to ensure that spares are always well stocked and available
Taking best practice from other Alistair locations and implementing in Mozambique.
Implement a flawless HSE culture in the workshop and yard
Sending a weekly report to GM.

Education/Skills/Experience

Mechanical/technical degree.
Not less than 5 years' work experience.
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Experience managing and growing enterprises, and managing a diverse team.
Experience in maintaining large fleets.
Ability in creating reports and using fleet maintenance software.

Safety

Ensuring the entire Mozambique operation runs as safely as possible
Assisting with incident investigations and reporting
Leading by example a safe compliant management style
Successfully implementing and receiving ISO 9001!and!18001!for!Moz!Ops
