Job Purpose:To build and maintain the Experience Design Studio's talent and external relationships with the goal of supplying experience design services to the wider Standard Bank group
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Leading and managing the Studio team including but not limited to these responsibilities:
- Career planning and development
- Performance management
- Line management activities measures
- A stable and high performing team of designers
- A team that is fully compliant with HR / finance processes and requirements
- Planning the allocation of resources and ensuring timely delivery of experience design services to the Studio's clients.
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
- Tertiary degree (Preferred: Degree in Human Factors Engineering / Software Ergonomics;
- Secondary: Degree in Cognitive Psychology; Degree in Industrial Engineering; Degree in Information Technology) (Also applicable: Certification in Usability)
- Applicable training courses in User Centric Design methods. (User analysis, Information Architecture Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Usability Engineering etc.)
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise:
Ensuring that the quality of design services delivered by the team remains of the standard and quality that is set by the Platform and Experience Design team.
