The successful applicant will be responsible for Wadeville, Inland Branches and Bryanston employees.
Matric
Relevant tertiary education in Industrial Psychology / Human Resource Management / Behavioural Sciences will be advantageous.
At least 2 years' experience in HR/Office administration.
Previous payroll and employee benefits experience will be an advantage.
Experience with HR systems will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of BCEA, LRA and SDA.
Computer literacy needed in Microsoft Office.
The HR Administrator will support both the HR consultant and HR manager in Wadeville on all of the below tasks:
Administration -
- Preparing reports on headcount, recruitment, industrial relations, training, leave, car allowances etc.
- Maintaining and updating information on all HR systems
- Secretarial duties to the HR department such as scheduling meetings, screening phone calls, booking boardrooms, travel arrangements,
- Implementing and communicating company policies and procedures
- Handling employee queries and external requests.
- Intermediate between employees and payroll, assisting with all queries.
- Compiling employee starter pack and assisting employees with completion of documents and handing completed packs to payroll.
- Handling all provident fund queries and submissions,
- Establish and maintain proper HR filing systems,
- Assisting with HR projects,
- Ad hoc administrative, operational and branch duties.
- Capture and update employee information on HR system.
Recruitment and On boarding Function -
- Scheduling with interviews,
- Preparing starter pack and welcome pack,
- All credit and qualification checks,
- Arranging an induction program for the new employee,
- Assisting with induction presentations.
Training and employee development function -
- Compiling training reports
- Assisting with part-time studies and bursaries.
- Assisting with employee review and STA discussions.
Termination function -
- Facilitating termination process of the employee, collecting of company property, and termination of medical aid, pension /provident fund transfers, confirming leave and assisting with exit interviews.
