Our client is a leader in theDocument Solutions industry and theyare looking for a District Technical Manager. Must have 5-7years experience. Based in Isando

To monitor and control District service levels provided to customer via work controlthereby ensuring that response time parameters are achieved.
To monitor and controlmaterial usage, including van stock holding, and identify variances and take corrective action toensure service targets are achieved.
To monitor downtime parameters on all clients ongoingto ensure targets and contractual obligations are achieved.
To attend and conduct regularinternal and external account review meetings to discuss and resolve customer problems therebyproviding customers with a high level of satisfaction.
To monitor performance of alltechnical staff on an ongoing basis, identifying weaknesses or shortfalls in skills and to implementcorrective actions.
Be prepared to handle after hours duties w.r.t technical standbymanagement.
To counsel and appraise all direct reports on a regular basis, providingsupport, career guidance and development opportunities, creating a skilled and motivatedworkforce.
Own and manage Customer Satisfaction
Manage quality of servicedelivered
Manage SLA issues to resolution
Manage escalation process

 
Job Requirements 




General IT industry skills – at least 5 years in the IT industry.
5 to 7 yrsTechnical management experience with management diploma.
3 to 5 yrs ManagementExperience in a Service Department is a pre-requisite.
Supervisory / InteractionManagement / Presentation skills.
P.C. literacy and Network connectivity.
Goodcustomer interaction skills and satisfaction driven.
Project Management exposure.
People Management – ability to motivate people to do their best individually and as ateam.
Negotiation skills.
Passionate about Xerox brand values.
Professionalism, determination, smart and savvy, open, fresh thinking.
